Toshiba America Names Division Vice President of Sales

* Tod Pulsifer has been appointed vice president of sales for the electronic imaging division of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. in Irvine. Pulsifer, who joined Toshiba in 1982, was previously a director of sales and marketing for the division.

* Darryl Walker has been appointed vice president of HA-LO Industries Inc. with responsibility for sales, customer service and new business development in California. He will be based in the Irvine office of the Niles, Ill., advertising products distributor. Walker was previously vice president and district manager of Jack Nadel Inc., where he opened and managed two Southern California sales offices.

* Barbara J. Fields has joined Altus Inc. in Santa Ana as director of client services for market research. She was formerly client services executive at Griggs-Anderson Research in Portland, Ore. Fields has also held marketing and management positions at Tektronix, Electrical Construction Co. and Wendy’s International.

* Martha Ryan has joined Carl Karcher Enterprises as director of information systems and services. She was previously with the management consulting firm of A.T. Kearney for seven years. In addition, Brad Whitaker has been appointed director of real estate. Before joining Karcher, the Anaheim parent company of the Carl’s Jr. chain of fast-food restaurants, he was director of development for Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. He has also worked for Marriott Corp. and Pizza Hut Inc.

* John B. Dorsey has been appointed general manager of Hyundai Motor America’s western region in Fountain Valley. He is responsible for Hyundai’s distribution, marketing and sales in 11 states. Most recently, Dorsey was director of sales at Suzuki of America Automotive Corp. He has also been national truck sales and fleet manager at Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, sales administration and fleet manager at Toyota Motor Sales, and district and zone sales manager at Chrysler Corp.

* Phillip Griffith has been appointed Western regional sales manager of Invincible Technologies Corp., a computer services company. He will be located in the Tustin office. Griffith was formerly a district sales manager of Clearpoint Research Corp.

* Barbara A. Mohler has joined National Bank of Southern California as vice president and commercial loan officer. She will be located in the Newport Beach regional office. Mohler was most recently with Marine National Bank in Newport Beach and, before that, with Bank of Newport and Huntington National Bank.
