An Anaheim Hills multimillionaire, who spared no expense to help save a 13-year-old Muslim boy blinded by shrapnel in warring Bosnia, was accused Tuesday of fraud and breach of contract in a civil suit filed by his wife.

Claire Maglica claims in a suit filed Tuesday in Orange County Superior Court that Anthony Maglica, her husband of more than 20 years, has been diverting millions from their business, MAG Instruments Inc., which made millions by manufacturing a popular flashlight dubbed the Maglite.

Claire Maglica is asking for at least $150 million. The Maglicas and their attorneys could not be reached for comment.

Anthony Maglica, a Croatian-American, was touched by the plight of Saed Bekric, whose bandage-covered face was shown on television.

The Maglicas arranged to bring the boy to the United States for medical treatment in the hope of restoring his sight.
