Clinton Names Nominees for 3 Ambassador Posts

WASHINGTON — President Clinton will nominate Emory University President James T. Laney to be ambassador to South Korea, the White House has announced. Clinton also will nominate career Foreign Service officers Edward Perkins and Victor Tomseth to serve as ambassadors to Australia and Laos, respectively.
