Electric Trucks: Taylor-Dunn, an Anaheim-based builder of electric vehicles, has begun shipping 400 electric trucks to Sabritas SA de Mexico City, a subsidiary of Pepsico. The company’s ElecTruck is a three-quarter-ton electric utility truck that travels at speeds up to 32 m.p.h. and has a range of up to 50 miles before recharging is required. With the shipment, Sabritas will have the largest electric truck fleet in the world. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
