PANORAMA CITY — Swastikas were found painted on a burglarized Panorama City house, and Los Angeles police said Wednesday that they are investigating the case as a hate crime.
Residents of the house in the 14000 block of Strathern Street discovered the swastikas Tuesday when they returned home from vacation, police said. A resident of the house, who asked not to be named, said three eight-inch swastikas had been painted on a living-room window.
“Our house was trashed,” she said. “We’re still cleaning up.”
