KCRW-FM to Air Town Hall Meeting With Janet Reno
KCRW-FM (89.9) will have live coverage of Atty. Gen. Janet Reno’s town hall meeting at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today.
Reno will field questions from an audience invited by members of Los Angeles County’s congressional delegation. Topics are expected to include immigration, civil rights and efforts to reduce the use and sale of illegal drugs.
A Justice Department spokeswoman said that this will be Reno’s first town hall meeting since becoming attorney general. Warren Olney, host of KCRW’s “Which Way L.A.?,” will serve as the moderator.
Reno will also be a guest on Michael Jackson’s KABC-AM (790) talk show from 9:05 to 9:30 a.m. and will take calls from listeners.
