CAMARILLO : Music Group Plans Fund-Raising Sale

Save Our Kids Music, the group that runs the band program in Camarillo elementary schools, is asking local residents to donate furniture and other goods for a yard sale fund-raiser later this month.
The group will hold a large sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at Los Primeros Structured School on Ventura Boulevard, Save Our Kids Music leader Reese Copsey said.
All proceeds from the sale will go toward the music program in the Pleasant Valley Elementary School District.
People who want to donate items can drop them off at Los Primeros from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 23, or between 7 and 9 a.m. on the morning of the sale.
Or contributors may call Copsey at 484-2415 to have Save Our Kids Music volunteers pick up the goods for the sale.
