El Camino’s Net Income Drops 9% for Fiscal Year

El Camino Resources International, a privately held Woodland Hills computer-leasing concern, said its fiscal 1993 net income fell 9% on a 35% increase in sales.

For the year that ended April 30, El Camino’s net income dropped to $4.2 million from $4.6 million a year earlier. Revenue climbed to $459.8 million from $340.3 million in 1992.

El Camino said its profits declined as a result of acquiring three software development companies during the year, adding technical and sales personnel to support its continued expansion, and moving the company’s headquarters to a larger facility.
