PASADENA : TV Actor Sentenced to Community Service
James Patrick Healy, 42, a television soap opera actor convicted last month of assault with a deadly weapon, was sentenced Tuesday to 200 hours of community service and three years probation upon suspension of a two-year state prison term. Healy, who played roles in “Dynasty” and “Santa Barbara,” also received 91 days in jail, time he has already served while awaiting trial in Pasadena Superior Court.
Healy had been charged with residential burglary and assault stemming from a Feb. 6 beating in Rosemead of his sister’s estranged husband. A jury on June 25 found Healy innocent of the burglary charges but guilty of assault.
