2 High School Auto Programs Honored
The automotive programs at San Clemente and Mission Viejo high schools have been honored by the California Department of Transportation and Energy for being exemplary industrial and technology education programs.
A total of 14 high schools and regional occupational programs throughout the state were honored by the department for meeting such challenges as integrating academic and vocational education, working with colleges, and involving business and industry.
San Clemente High School automotive teacher Robert McCarroll said he was honored to have the school’s program “recognized in this prestigious group.”
