CAM Data Systems Inc.: The Fountain Valley producer of point-of-sale and inventory management systems reported a 92% increase in profit for its third fiscal quarter. Earnings were $205,000, or 11 cents a share, up from $107,000, or 6 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose 29% to $3.1 million from $2.4 million. For the first nine months of its fiscal year, the company posted a profit of $483,000, or 25 cents a share, up 8% from $449,000, or 25 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Nine-month revenue increased 38% to $8.8 million from $6.4 million.
