El Camino Profit for ’93 Rises 10% on Sales Surge

El Camino Resources International Inc., a privately held Woodland Hills computer-leasing concern, said its fiscal 1993 net income rose 10% on a 35% jump in sales.

For the year that ended April 30, El Camino’s net income increased to $4.6 million from $4.2 million a year earlier. Revenue climbed to $459.8 million from $340.3 million in 1992.

El Camino said it achieved the gains despite the costs of acquiring three software development companies during the year, adding technical and sales personnel to support its continued expansion, and moving its headquarters to a larger facility.
