IRVINE : College Foundation Appoints New Board
The Irvine Valley College Foundation, a private group that raises money for the college, has a new board of governors.
David B. Lang, founder of the Haumaninger, Benoe, Lang & Alford accounting firm in Irvine, was selected as board president.
He is past president of the Rotary Club of Santa Ana and has worked with the Orange County Academic Decathlon. Lang is also a part-time teacher at Cal State Fullerton.
Joanna Spaulding, a former top official at the North Orange County Community College District, is the new first vice president.
Charlotte Brady, branch vice president at Fidelity Federal Bank in Irvine, was chosen as the new second vice president.
Ann M. Sin is the new board secretary. She is a member of the Women’s Advisory Board of Irvine Medical Center, is chairwoman of Friends of Art Spaces Irvine and has worked with the Irvine Barclay Theatre.
Thomas U. Wall, president of an Irvine real estate firm, is the new treasurer.
Their terms begin this month and will run through July, 1994.
