US Facilities Posts a 20% Increase in Profits for 2nd Quarter

US Facilities Corp., the Costa Mesa specialty insurance company, reported a 20% increase in profit for the second quarter, to $1.8 million, or 31 cents a share, from $1.5 million, or 25 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue was up 38%, to $27.2 million from $19.7 million. For the six-month period, profit rose 19%, to $3.7 million, or 62 cents a share, from $3.1 million, or 52 cents a share, in the corresponding 1992 period. Revenue rose 36%, to $53.2 million from $39 million.
