Seoul Restricts Imports of Wood Products, U.S. Rules: The South Korean government uses trade barriers, such as high tariffs and unfair building codes, to restrict imports of foreign wood products, the U.S. Commerce Department said. The country’s demand for wood products continues to grow rapidly, and indigenous forests can’t satisfy the need, according to a Commerce Department study.
