Takasugi to Hold Town Hall Meetings
State Assemblyman Nao Takasugi will hold a series of meetings with business people and residents in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks this week.
Takasugi, whose 37th District stretches from Moorpark south to Thousand Oaks and west to Oxnard, will hold his first town hall meetings for constituents on Wednesday and Thursday in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks.
Camarillo-area residents are invited to attend the Wednesday meeting, which will be held at 5 p.m. at the Camarillo Community Center at 1605 E. Burnley Drive.
The Thursday meeting, which will be geared toward Conejo Valley residents, will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Richter Hall, Ahmanson Building, California Lutheran University on Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks.
The Camarillo Chamber of Commerce has organized four meetings between the assemblyman and the Camarillo business community for earlier in the week.
Takasugi will appear Tuesday at G&H; Technology at 750 Ventura Blvd. at 8:30 a.m.; Channel Islands National Bank in Camarillo Village Square at 1:30 p.m., and at Siemens Solar Industries at 4650 Adohr Lane at 3 p.m.
From noon to 1:30 p.m., the chamber is hosting a luncheon with the assemblyman at Ottavio’s Banquet Hall at 340 N. Mobil Ave.
While the meetings at the various businesses are free to Camarillo business people, the luncheon will cost $15 for chamber members in advance and $20 for non-members and at the door.
