Amplicon Profit Is Up 8%

Amplicon Inc., the Santa Ana equipment sales and leasing company, posted a profit of $9.8 million, or $1.68 a share, for its latest fiscal year. That was up 8% from earnings of $9.1 million, or $1.57 a share, for the previous 12 months. Revenue for the year ended June 30 increased 26% to $163.8 million from $130.4 million. For the fourth quarter, the company’s profit was unchanged at $2.5 million, or 43 cents a share. Three-month revenue rose 5% to $41 million from $38.9 million.
