A reputed Los Angeles gang member sought as a suspect in a double killing at a Palmdale gas station has been arrested in Omaha and will be extradited next week, authorities said Friday.

Michael Dewayne Parker, 23, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after Omaha police received information that a man claiming to be a Los Angeles gang member was selling drugs, Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Rich Erickson said.

Omaha police phoned the Los Angeles police gang unit who told them that Parker, also known as “Drac,” was wanted in the May 21 shooting deaths of Palmdale residents Antwon Guiles and his cousin, Kevin Robertson, both 22.

Kubwa Gonsounin, 24, of Palmdale was wounded in the hand and leg during the attack.

Already in custody for the killings is Dialo Parker, also of Palmdale, and no relation to Michael Parker. Police arrested him May 22 in a Palmdale apartment, where officers found a 9mm pistol they suspect is the weapon used in the slayings.

Erickson said that Dialo Parker did the actual shooting, but that Michael Parker also will face murder charges as an accomplice.

The Parkers got into a gang-related argument at a Texaco mini-mart at 470 E. Palmdale Blvd., with the two victims and Gonsounin, which ended with Dialo Parker allegedly shooting them, Erickson said.

The Parkers escaped in a car driven by a woman who was later arrested, but not charged, Erickson said.

Dialo Parker was arrested the next day after police received a tip that he was hiding.
