American Health Services Corp.: The Newport Beach operator of diagnostic imaging centers said it lost $626,163, or 6 cents a share, for the second quarter. That compared to a loss of $240,812, or 2 cents a share, for the second quarter last year. Revenue was flat at $9.4 million. For the first half, the company lost $1.2 million, or 13 cents a share. That compared to a loss of $140,686, or 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Six-month revenue was $19 million, down slightly from $19.2 million.
