WESTLAKE VILLAGE : Auto Show Entries Now Being Accepted

Registrations are being accepted for people hoping to display their antique cars or hot-rods at the Westlake Village Auto Show, scheduled for Oct. 3, organizers said.

The show has been moved this year from the Westlake Plaza Shopping Center to Auto Mall Drive in Westlake Village to accommodate more cars, entertainment and food booths, organizers said. The free event features trophies and other awards.

About 2,000 people attended the show last year to view 300 cars on display--from American classics to antique and sports cars, organizers said. New cars also will be on display at this year’s show, which is sponsored by the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall.

The charge for registering a vehicle in the show is $20.

Proceeds from the event benefit the chamber and local charities, organizers said.
