Developers Debate: Real estate developers are about to enter the debate over just what to do with El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, slated for closure.
The Commercial Industrial Development Assn., an Orange County group of developers, is holding a dinner debate that will include developers, public officials and others.
Scheduled for Aug. 25, the meeting, called “El Toro Storm--Development of Future Land Use for the Marine Base,” will feature Mayors Michael Ward of Irvine and Clarence J. Turner of Newport Beach.
