PLACENTIA : Postponed Street Fair to Be Held Saturday
A street fair canceled earlier this summer has been rescheduled for Saturday in the Old Town area.
The Fourth Annual Festival of Arts and Cultures Street Faire will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Placita Santa Fe.
The street fair offers local artisans a chance to display their creations. Other activities and attractions include ethnic foods, children’s games, a classic car show, a petting zoo and entertainment.
Poncho Sanchez, who has been nominated for a Grammy in the Latin jazz category for the past three years, will perform from 2:45 to 4 p.m.
The street fair will take place on Santa Fe Avenue and Melrose Street. Parking is available at Valencia High School and Kraemer Memorial Park, with shuttle bus service from those sites. Additional parking is available on Crowther Avenue.
