Glendale : Furniture for Charities

Local charitable organizations looking for office furniture should contact the Glendale Community Foundation.

According to foundation Executive Director Tom Miller, CIGNA/Montgomery and Collins Inc. of Los Angeles is moving its offices and has many chairs, end tables, bookcases, filing cabinets (both legal and standard sizes) and desks to donate. The foundation matches the donor with the receiving nonprofit agencies.

The company plans to vacate its offices in two weeks. Organizations wishing a furniture donation need to send a letter requesting specific items with a brief explanation of how they will be used.
