Wal-Mart, Toys R Us Suit Dismissed: U.S. District Judge Barefoot Sanders dismissed the lawsuit brought against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Toys R Us Inc. that claimed the stores sold used goods as new. Attorney Marc Stanley had brought the lawsuit on behalf of himself and as a class-action suit against the two stores. He sought an injunction ordering the stores to stop selling used goods as new and to pay damages for a class of people affected by the alleged practice. Stanley said he plans to refile the lawsuit as a class action.
