USC is practicing on a new field, courtesy of the Buffalo Bills.

Part of the USC’s price for the Bills to use Howard Jones Field last January for Super Bowl practices was a new field.

Wide receiver Edward Hervey finished Thursday’s practice with a flourish. After catching a long pass from Rob Johnson in the end zone, he threw the ball over the end-zone screen.

The ball was last seen coming down near a parking structure.

Frustrated quarterback? Possibly. Hervey was the quarterback last season at Pasadena City College, where he averaged 171 yards total offense. In the spring, he ran 200 meters in 20.65 seconds.
