Warner Reversing Policy on Used CDs: Warner Elektra Atlantic Corp. became the latest major music company to yield to pressure from angry merchants and return to providing advertising support for stores selling used compact discs. However, the company said it will not permit the money to be used to promote used CDs. Warner Elektra Atlantic is part of media conglomerate Time Warner. Last week, CEMA Distributors reversed a similar policy and began providing ad money again for its Capitol and EMI labels.
