Corvettes Recalled for Exhaust Repairs: General Motors Corp. said it is recalling nearly 50,000 of the Chevrolet muscle cars to fix a problem with the emissions system. GM said two hoses under the hoods of all 1988 and 1989 Corvettes will be replaced free of charge because they may deteriorate, crack and leak so that the cars cannot pass smog inspections.
