Staff Box Rewrite: Orange Coast magazine continues to make changes in its editorial staff.

Editor Erik Himmelsbach departed in April, and Lynn Beresford, who had been managing editor, moved up. More recently, Beresford’s old job has been filled by Robin Manougian, former editor of Los Angeles-based Beauty Handbook magazine.

Allison Joyce has been appointed associate editor. She was most recently an assistant account executive with ad agency Rosen Kennedy & Associates in Newport Beach.

Gloria Zigner will be society editor on a free-lance basis. Zigner, who owned her own public relations agency in Orange County for more than two decades, is senior vice president at South Coast Communications Group.

Beresford said the monthly magazine is planning graphics changes and “juicier stories” starting with the first issue of 1994.
