From Times Staff and Wire Reports

An Israeli judge ordered another delay in the deportation of former Ohio auto worker John Demjanjuk, pending a ruling on appeals by Holocaust survivors and Nazi hunters who demand a new war crimes trial. The ruling marked the fifth time that Demjanjuk’s Aug. 1 deportation order has been delayed. In July, Demjanjuk’s 1988 conviction and death sentence as “Ivan the Terrible” of the Treblinka death camp was overturned.
