Line About Sabatini Was a Lot of Bull
Jim Murray wrote a warm and interesting feature about Gabriela Sabatini, the Argentine tennis player, but I was troubled by his statement that she is the most popular figure in her country “never to fight bulls or kick a winning goal in a World Cup.” I am sorry to say that bullfighting has never been practiced in Argentina.
You may think this an unimportant detail, but I’m sure no American would like to read about the popularity of cricket players in the USA.
