Little Leaguers Teach Some Valuable Lessons

Share

The recent Little League championship game was such a joy to watch because of the class and respect of the players and coaches for the great game of baseball.

I think a tape should be made of the game and copies sent to every manager in the big leagues, with a request that they play it for their team members to show them how baseball courtesy, control of temper, accepting of umpire decisions, etc., can be handled by little boys in a far superior manner than the big “kindergartners” with their poor sport, retaliatory attitudes, childish pouts, etc., that we see on the telecasts of the games of the big leagues.
