WALNUT PARK : Molina Field Office Opening in 2 Months
Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina plans to open a Walnut Park satellite office within two months.
The storefront at 2674 E. Florence Ave., which is being remodeled, will be staffed by field deputy Sylvia Novoa at least one day a week, said Robert Alaniz, Molina’s spokesman.
Residents from the unincorporated areas of Walnut Park, Willowbrook and Florence will be able to visit the site for information or complain about county services, Alaniz said. Their input should help Molina understand and respond to the area’s needs.
“Clearly, we saw a great need for county presence in the Southeast area,” Alaniz said. “It’s the supervisor’s style to work directly with people.”
The office space will be shared with sheriff’s deputies from the bike patrol unit and with the Walnut Park Merchants Assn. Information: (213) 974-4111.
