Regency Health Services Inc., the Newport Beach operator of specialty health-care facilities, posted a profit of $5.4 million, or 77 cents a share, for its latest fiscal year.
That was up 69% from earnings of $3.2 million, or 90 cents a share, for the previous year. Revenue for the 12 months ended June 30 showed a gain of 42%, to $115.4 million from $81.4 million.
For the fourth quarter, profit grew 12% to $1.4 million, or 18 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 30 cents a share, a year earlier. Three-month revenue rose 22% to $31.4 million from $25.7 million.
