Fortune Petroleum Files for Equity Offering

Agoura Hills-based Fortune Petroleum said it filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an equity offering of 900,000 units and that its stock would begin trading on the American Stock Exchange when the SEC approved the offering.
The oil and gas company said the equity units will consist of two shares of its common shares and warrants to purchase two additional common shares.
The offering will be managed by the Des Moines, Iowa, investment firm of Dickinson & Co.
