Pension Investments
* Every day we read that California needs money for investments in jobs, education, low-cost housing, to name a few. Our Legislature voted for AB 216, which allows pension funds (billions of dollars) of California state employees, including teachers, to be invested in Canadian, Israeli or Mexican bonds.

Gov. Pete Wilson can veto this bill. It’s up to us to let him know how we, the people, feel.
