Ex-Titan Returning as Assistant Coach

FULLERTON — Julie Knight, former All-American gymnast at Cal State Fullerton, has been hired as an assistant gymnastics coach by the Titans, the school announced Thursday.
Knight has been an elite coach at the SCATS Gymnastics Club in Huntington Beach for most of the past 16 years and also a U.S. Olympic Festival coach.
Knight was on Fullerton’s first gymnastics team in 1976 and was an All-American in all-around, vault and floor exercise. Her main responsibilities under Coach Lynn Rogers will be recruiting and balance beam.
