Disease Detection Gets Brazilian Order

Disease Detection International Inc. said Monday that its Brazilian joint venture has won an order from the large state of Sao Paulo for as much as $4 million worth of the company’s SeroCard HIV-1 AIDS tests.
Sao Paulo will use the 1.2 million tests in a broad program for low-income people. The state has a population of 30 million and is expected to order more tests through next year, Disease Detection said.
