LOS ANGELES : Riordan Names Special Team of Fiscal Advisers
Mayor Richard Riordan has assembled a team of business experts to help the financially strapped city better manage its assets and survive the lingering recession.
Headed by investment banker Michael E. Tennenbaum, the nine-member Special Advisory Committee on Fiscal Administration will make recommendations to Riordan by Jan. 31.
Named to the committee are developer Eli Broad, restaurateur Linda Griego, accountant Dick Poladian, First Interstate Chairman Edward Carson, UCLA management professor William Ouchi and attorneys Gilbert T. Ray and Richard J. Welch. City Administrative Officer Keith Comrie will also serve on the panel.
