WILSHIRE CENTER : Book Drive to Aid Wilton Place School
The Wilshire Chamber of Commerce and Central Plaza will host the third annual Book Drive and Fair to benefit the Wilton Place School on Thursday and Friday.
Central Plaza and 20 other office and commercial buildings in the Wilshire Center area collected thousands of books, including fiction, nonfiction, textbooks and children’s books, which will be sold at the fair for 25 cents apiece. The benefit will be at Central Plaza’s courtyard, 3460 Wilshire Blvd., from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All funds will be donated to Wilton Place School to purchase classroom materials, software for the new computer center and science materials for experiments.
