CurtCo Publishing Sells 2 Business Magazines

CurtCo Publishing of Woodland Hills sold its Mobile Office magazine and Portable Computing magazine to Stamford, Conn.,-based Cowles Business Media for an undisclosed amount.

Mobile Office, a monthly publication with a circulation of 109,000, advises businesses on portable office tools, such as mobile phones, portable computers and wireless data devices.

Portable Computing, with a monthly circulation of 50,000, advises consumers on hardware, software and computer peripherals.

Susan Curtis, who is group publisher of both magazines, will move to Cowles Business Media and continue in that post, CurtCo said.
