NATIONAL ROUNDUP : Sky Beauty Extends Her Stakes Streak to Five
Sky Beauty won her fifth consecutive stakes Sunday, the $100,000-added Rare Perfume for 3-year-old fillies at Belmont Park.
Sky Beauty covered the mile under Mike Smith in 1:35 3/5 and returned $2.60, $2.20 and $2.10 after winning by 1 3/4 lengths.
In the co-featured $100,000-added Jamaica Handicap, Mi Cielo won by 2 3/4 lengths over longshot Prospector’s Flag. Cherokee Run was another 1 3/4 lengths back in third in the field of eight 3-year-old colts.
Ridden by Smith, who won all four weekend stakes at Belmont, Mi Cielo covered the mile in 1:35 1/5 and returned $7.00, $4.40 and $3.20.

Grand Jewel, the only 3-year-old in the field, scored a 1 1/4-length victory in the $110,700 Fayette Stakes at Keeneland.
Ridden by Jerry Bailey, the Java Gold colt ran the 1 1/8-miles in 1:46 4/5 to equal the stakes and track record set by Good Command in 1987.
