Workers’ Compensation Prosecutor Named: Richard A. Rosenthal has been named assistant head deputy and lead prosecutor for the workers’ compensation fraud division of the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. The appointment of a lead prosecutor was the main recommendation of a newly released report by the Los Angeles County Bar Assn.’s Task Force on Workers’ Compensation Fraud. Rosenthal, 31, joined the district attorney’s office in 1986 after receiving his law degree from UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall and had been a deputy district attorney in the workers’ compensation fraud division. He will report to Edward G. Feldman, acting head of the division.
