U.N.’s Track Record
* The United Nations celebrates its 48th birthday this month.
It’s possible that we would all be in World War III by now had it not been for the United Nations saving the day so many times in so many places and in so many ways.
Why can’t it just shoot it out with the warmongers everywhere? Because the charter states it can only protect and defend a country when invited to do so.
But let’s face it, perfect or not, what would we do without it?
There have been many international heroes within its ranks, and to them we say thanks, we won’t let you down.
