HUNTINGTON BEACH : Police Search for Man in Molestation
Police were searching for a man who molested a 5-year-old girl at a playground in an apartment complex Tuesday evening, authorities said.
Police Sgt. Larry Miller said about 6:45 p.m., a man helped the child off a slide in the 16000 block of Viewpoint Lane and offered to escort her home, so she followed him.
He then picked her up, carried her about 200 yards from the playground and fondled her, Miller said.
The girl broke away and ran home, Miller said.
