Robson Joins Robertson, Stephens & Co.: John Robson, who served as deputy Treasury secretary in the Bush Administration, is joining the San Francisco investment banking firm as a senior adviser, specializing in deals in the health care and technology fields. The health care industry “is clearly in tumult, driven by more than just the specter of the Clinton health care plan,” Robson said in an interview. “People are looking for ways to economize and get more efficient and spread marketing power,” said Robson, former president and chief executive of G.D. Searle & Co., a major pharmaceutical firm.
