The Times Enters Spanish Language Advertising Pact: The Los Angeles Times has entered into a joint sales and advertising agreement with Heftel, a Los Angeles-based media company that owns two of the largest Spanish language radio stations in the local market. The agreement will sell packages of ads in Nuestro Tiempo, the Times’ Spanish weekly publication, and on KLVE-FM and KTNQ-AM, which are, respectively, the city’s second- and third- largest Spanish-language radio stations, in addition to sponsorship of local events coordinated by Heftel. The Times is a wholly owned subsidiary of Times Mirror Co.
