LA PALMA : 150 Helpers Needed for Halloween Fete

The Recreation & Community Services Department needs 150 volunteers to help stage the city’s annual Halloween Carnival from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31.
Volunteers are especially needed to work the game booths and to assist in costume contests.
The public is also asked to bring canned or boxed food, which will be distributed to needy families during the holidays. The free carnival will be at Central Park, 7821 Walker St.
