CAPISTRANO BEACH : School District to Hold Public Auction
Buses, cars, furniture and office equipment will be among the items for sale during a public auction held by the Capistrano Unified School District later this month.
Proceeds from the auction will be returned to the school district’s general fund.
Sale items will be available for inspection Oct. 20 to 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the district’s Transportation Center, 26162 Victoria Blvd. in Capistrano Beach.
The auction starts at 10 a.m. on Oct. 23 at the Transportation Center.
Terms of the sale are as follows: a $100 cash deposit is required upon registration, refundable if no purchases are made; total sale price must be paid on the day of the auction; there will be no check-out during the auction; only cash, cashiers’ checks and Visa and MasterCard (4% will be added to credit card transactions) will be accepted; all items will be offered as is, and all sales will be final.
