Satellite Technology Management Inc.: The Costa Mesa manufacturer of satellite communications networks reported a third-quarter profit of $16,200, or no cents a share. That compared to a profit of $1 million, or 21 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue declined 18% to $4 million from $4.9 million. For the first nine months of the year, the company reported a loss of $1.4 million, or 31 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $2.7 million, or 63 cents a share, for the same period last year. Nine-month revenue was down 46% to $7.6 million from $14.2 million.
