COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : USC : More Records Await Morton

If senior wide receiver Johnnie Morton can catch nine passes for at least 28 yards and three touchdowns Saturday at Cal, he will have three more USC single-season records. He caught six passes at Notre Dame Saturday and gained 109 yards but didn’t score.

Senior defensive end Willie McGinest, on Notre Dame All-American offensive tackle Aaron Taylor: “He’s good, but we’ve played a lot of good offensive tackles. The best offensive tackle I’ve ever played against is Tony Boselli.”

The Trojans’ Boselli is sidelined because of a knee injury.
